Guten Morgen! Was Software-Updates angeht, starte ich das Infotainmentsystem vier- bis fünfmal neu, um das Update in meinem Auto zu erzwingen.
Nach drei bis vier Tagen erhalte ich eine Benachrichtigung, die neue Software zu installieren.

Hey, today I picked up our Björn from changing the door handles, so that Kessy can also go when it gets cold again... well, it's actually still cold here, or rather cold again, brrrr.
Now it's showing an OTA update (the last one was the 10-minute update discussed here, so it should be "current"). It took 17:55 – wow, before it always took 2-3 hours. It would have been fine, but unfortunately I left something in the car, so I unlocked it again, and now it doesn't seem to want to start.
Has anyone had this update yet?
It happened to me 3 weeks ago, dead. Not even kessy worked, opened the driver door using the key blade.
The only way to bring it back to life was disconecting the negative pole of 12 volt battery for some minutes.
After replacing the negative pole the system restarted and the upgrade was sucessfuly completed.

Update from me:
The tow truck wasn't able to charge my car. The mechanic had the idea of disconnecting the 12V battery for five minutes and then reconnecting it. At first, nothing happened. He drove away without getting anything done. They wanted to check with the dealership to see what they could do next.
After an hour, I casually pressed the key again and was amazed that the mirrors folded out.
A message appeared stating that the update had been completed, but numerous error messages still appeared on the small display. I then gave it another 15 minutes of rest, and after that, all the error messages disappeared.
Phew, I'm relieved. 🤗
Maybe disconnecting the 12V battery will help others where the Born seems dead and the update doesn't go through
Dear, thanks to your experience I disconnected the 12V battery for 10 minutes.
After reconnect 12V battery, voilà! Born is back to life and confirmed successful installation of new software.
